​Definitions
In this document refer to individuals receiving assisted living services, as we are not medical professionals. Two types of Individuals are distinguished:

Waiver Individuals: An Individuals participating in a federally administered program whose eligibility and benefits are secured by the federal government.

Non-Waiver Individuals: An Individuals not enrolled in a federal program who still requires assisted living services.
As a provider, you are officially recognized for serving Kaylin AbayView Pinckney.
Policies for All Individuals:

Prohibition of Weapons: Guns and other weapons are strictly prohibited on site. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of services for the Individuals involved.

Theft Policy: The provider has the authority to determine the appropriate response to incidents of theft. For a first-time offense, the recommended course of action is termination of services.

Meal Requirement: Individuals are expected to eat three meals per day.

Transportation for Medical Appointments: Providers are responsible for ensuring Individuals have transportation to and from all scheduled doctor's appointments.

Holiday Observance: The celebration or observance of holidays is determined by either the provider or family members, based on their own preferences and traditions.

Regulatory Compliance: All Providers and Individuals must strictly adhere to all applicable regulations and policies governing assisted living services.
Waiver Individuals Utilization and Payment Policies

Monthly Payment: The monthly payment amount covers all expenses associated with the Individuals stay.

Rent Due Dates: Rent is due on the first day of each month. Alternatively, rent may be split, with half paid on the first Wednesday and the remaining half paid on the third Wednesday of the month.
Policies for Non-Waiver Individuals

Payment Upon Arrival: Payment from the Individuals required upon arrival. If payment is received after the fifth day of the month, rent will be prorated based on the number of days remaining.

Prorated Rent Calculation Example: For a monthly rent of $700 in a 31-day month, the daily rate is calculated as $700 divided by 31, equaling approximately $23.30 per day. If a consumer arrives on the fifth day, there are 26 days left in the month, resulting in a total payment of $23.30 multiplied by 26 days, equaling $605.80.

Insurance Requirements: Insurance coverage is mandatory for Non-Waiver Individuals. If a provider chooses to accommodate a Individuls without insurance, the provider assumes responsibility for that decision.

Insurance Coverage: Insurance will be provided for Non-Waiver Individuals managed by Kaylin AbayView Pinckney.

Rent Due Date: Rent must be paid by the fifth day of each month.

Income: You must have income before being accepted into the program
